The App Bros Canada ("we", "us") is the Canadian arm of The App Bros, a mobile app development company. This policy explains what personal information we collect on appbros.ca, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can control it. We follow Canada's federal privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and the privacy laws of the provinces where our clients live, including Quebec's Law 25 where it applies.

What We Collect

When you fill out a form, email us or call us, we may collect:

• Your name, company, email address and phone number
• Your province
• Details about your app idea, budget and timeline
• Records of our calls and messages with you

When you visit the site, we may also collect basic technical data, such as your browser type, device, pages viewed and approximate location, through cookies or analytics tools.

Why We Collect It

We collect your information only to:

• Respond to your request and set up your consultation
• Prepare estimates and proposals for your app
• Provide the services you hire us for
• Make our website better and learn how visitors find us
• Keep records the law requires

We collect only what we need for these purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

Your Consent

By sending us a form, you agree that we may use your details to respond to your request, as described here. We will only send you follow-up or marketing email if you check the separate, optional email box on our forms, or if the law otherwise allows it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, though we may then be unable to help with your request.

Your Idea Stays Confidential

Details you share about your app idea are used only to talk with you about your project. We don't share your idea with anyone outside our team, except service providers who help us run our business and are bound to keep it private.

Who We Share It With

We share information only with:

• The App Bros team, which works on every inquiry and project from this site
• Service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as website hosting, form handling, email and analytics providers
• Authorities, when the law requires it

Information Stored Outside Canada

The App Bros is based in the United States, and some of our service providers store data in the United States or other countries. This means your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, where it may be accessed by courts, police or other authorities under the laws of that country. We use contracts and other safeguards to make sure it gets a level of protection similar to what it would get in Canada.

Email and Phone

If you opt in, we may send you emails about your project and related services. Every email tells you who sent it and includes a way to unsubscribe. We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). If you give us your phone number, we may call you about your request.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and analytics tools to see which pages are useful and how visitors reach us. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

How Long We Keep It

We keep inquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up on your project, and client records for as long as the law requires. We then delete or anonymize them.

How We Protect It

We use reasonable safeguards, including secure (HTTPS) connections, access limits and trusted service providers. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security. If a breach puts you at real risk of serious harm, we will tell you and report it to the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.

Children

This site is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
• Correct information that's wrong or incomplete
• Withdraw your consent or delete your information, where the law allows

Complaints

If you're not happy with how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to your provincial privacy commissioner where a provincial law applies. Quebec residents can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Our site links to other websites, such as theappbros.com, the App Store, Google Play and government sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
